Evaluation is a key stage in the educational process and is considered a necessity to measure the effectiveness of educational practice. It also aims at continuous improvement of learning outcomes in order to improve the education provided.

All partners collaborated to evaluate the quality of the project as the evaluation was the one that assessed the success and failure of our entire project and there were several meetings between teachers and project coordinators in all participating schools with children and parents’ participations. The final evaluation determined the success of the entire project. Students were an active part of the assessment process.

Project' s evaluation

Collecting more than 1100  answers in total (children, teachers, parents, local commynity) we had excellent results and we can say that this project was very successful, even we had some difficulties because of Covid.

The quality of work, the acquirement of quality knowledge, the achievement of objectives and the results, were taken as axons of evaluation.

Teachers, children and parents were active elements of the evaluation process and we asked all of them to evaluate their personal or collective efforts, their tasks, impressions, products of the project, the benefits of their involvement in the project and the formation of positive attitudes towards cultural heritage through their responses to questionnaires that were given at the beginning and end of the project.

The voice of the child was crucial to the success of this partnership, and at every stage of their development, the children themselves monitored, assessed and committed to the partnership.

Were evaluated:

The increase children and teachers knowledge about culture of other European countries, their skills and competence increases including the use of ICT.

What activities did the children participate in and how did they evaluate them.

Increasing teachers' skills in integrating cultural education in the teaching and learning process and using new innovative methods to educate children about their culture and the culture of other countries.

Teachers also assessed how the project activities influenced the children.

How has parents' knowledge of the culture of other European countries improved and increased and how parents supported their children's activities during the project implementation, as well as the positive impact and effect of their participation in the project activities.

                                                           RESULTS

This project gave us the opportunity to work and exchange ideas with teachers of other European countries and learned more about their countries and their culture!

After your answers to our questionnaire here are the results of project evaluation.

The cooperation between colleagues from partner-schools was qualitative, successful and fruitful.

Thanks to this Erasmus+ project ,partners of five beautiful countries from different parts of Europe project with their excellent cooperation gave to all us, the opportunity to become part of their culture, to learn about their food, their tradition, their style of life in the past to nowadays and to share our ideas with almost every day communication between us.

Students of all participants schools took active part in all project activities. They were the main objects in all activities of this project . They used their own imagination, practical skills, came into the contact with other children around the Europe, came in contact with different lanquages, they shared games, songs and ideas and they enjoyed every moments of this project!

This programme enabled us - teachers from different schools and countries - collaborate across Europe and get closer without crossing the borders in all mobilities because of Covid -19

We managed to keep in very high grade the quality of this project even two of our partners lost the physical mobility to Portugal and all partners the physical mobility to Poland. Greece as project coordinator took part with virtual mobility in Portugal (March 2020) watching every step and evaluating this mobility, wanted to give the feeling to our partners that she was there with them!

The last mobility was organized online (virtual) but with excellent results by Poland. All countries had a great opportunity to show (even via virtual mobility) our country, our culture and our city to pupils, teachers and parents of other countries, to exchange ideas and opinions, to create strong friendships and of course we gained a lot of experience using the tools of new technology. In this project took part not only pupils and their children, but also their parents, grandmothers and grandfathers, local community ,local press and and local factories of traditional products.

The project had a great impact on the involved schools - teachers - direct participants of the project, pupils, the institution and indirectly the local community.

Due to the partnership all the participants enriched their knowledge, gained the experience and different abilities. They are undoubtedly the long -term impact which arouse the teachers motivation, children and other staff.

All participants achieved the new acquaintanceship which allows them to develop themselves and the institutions they work in.

Teachers  developed their competences, broadened their knowledge, enriched their professional and linguistic experiences, exchanged experiences, got to know and compared the educational systems of their own country and the host country, learned effective methods of teaching culture adapted to the age of the pupils, promoted the institution and the culture of their own country in Europe, gained motivation for self-improvement, quality of education, established international cooperation, effectively collaborated; and as part of eTwinning projects, they introduced changes to the English language teaching program in the institution and innovative approach to everyday work.

Pupils had the opportunity to use the experience of teachers, participated in daily cultural classes, participated in international projects, developed language skills in an innovative way. There were made adequate changes to the curriculum which raised the prestige of the institution through innovative forms of culture teaching.

Parents' satisfaction increased after the stable access to innovative forms of education for their children.

The prestige of all involved institutions was increased and they became multipliers of innovative actions by publication of project outcomes.

We believe that our project was successful and all partners are eager to cooperate after the end of the project. We presume that the end of this project is the beginning of a new cooperation in the future. These kind of activities contribute to the increase of the quality of education, improve the knowledge and reinforce the European aspect of cultural education.
