Motivations to be written this project

With this project we wanted to change the behavior of pupils, family and local community towards our culture and tradition and to reinforce their national and European identity. We believe that this project will contribute to the increase of the quality of pre school education, improves the knowledge and reinforces the European aspect of education.

Cultural heritage,as a guardian of the common values contributes to the communication of peoples, particularly those with common cultural elements, which is crucial for maintaining peace and developing friendly human relations. Thus, cultural heritage offers for both, the individual and the community, all these elements that will contribute to the preservation of national values, the defense of human rights, coping with the problems of modern reality.

The basic purpose of the project was to train individuals, integrated to the cultural identity of our age at all, approaching with respect and understanding to different cultures, owing and recognizing cultural richness and diversity, seeing culture as area for creation ,that leads to economic and social sustainability.

Cultural heritage within the Kindergarten,as the first step of systemic education of childrenhas the potential contribute of shaping features and preparing prospective sensitive citizens who know their past, history and culture, creating conditions for a better future and the social-economic development and prosperity of their place of living, and of Europe in general.

We consider that is necessity the cultural enriching of this age children, because the experiences of preschool children in Europe can exert real influence on their lives today, in the future and basically throughout their lives. It is, therefore, extremely important to offer the best possible experience for children and their families.

The value of cultural Education in this age is invaluable, since there are built habits and attitudes of life and formed characters, is building the way of thought of little children and contact with culture encourages children to participate in the educational process, to get to know their cultural heritage and to cultivate their cultural awareness. As sooner it will begin this cultivation in young children, more deeply is going to embedded inside them. Pupils became more open-minded and are interested in other cultures through the experiences gained in the project. They experienced cultural events that bring together people and build bridges of peace and friendship.

This project sensitized trainees and woke their conscience, realizing that the tradition is an very important part of our life and our future it depends of our past.

The project contributed to the development of European consciousness and prepare the European citizen of tomorrow that respects the culture, human rights and values ,well prepared to acting and making right decisions for a better tomorrow.
